Fancy Dress Transformation Courtesy of Posh Pants!

Here is a lovely story from a recent customer who shopped in Posh pants for an ‘Alter Ego’ fancy dress party in Brighton!

“We were on the look out for some really good outfits to dress up in for our friend’s 30th Birthday themed, alter-ego.

As Paul is a massive Spurs fan and is originally from Essex it seemed apt that we dress as a footballer and ‘WAG’ (Wife and Girlfriend… A.K.A Footballer’s Wife).

But what to wear?! We asked ourselves.

We were making a trip to Brighton for the Birthday so we wanted to make a real entrance when we got to the party… Leona already had some idea of what she wanted to wear but when we took to the charity shops the outfit emerged by itself! When we reached the Posh Pants Cancer charity shop we were on the look out for a suitable coat and some accessories. We shared our ideas of what we were looking for with the two women who were working at the shop that day and they were overjoyed that we’d come to them for the final pieces.

Both women shared in our enthusiasm and before we knew it coats were being taken off hangers and sparkles were being pulled from the drawers for Leona to try and item by item we started to build a really strong look for the occasion. A coat was chosen, several jewels added and we left as very happy customers. Not only with the items that the ladies helped us find but the whole experience was one of the funnest and most hilarious charity shop visits we have ever had.

We wanted to make quite the entrance at the party and safe to say we did!

On Arrival, we were entered into the Glamour section of the cat walk as ‘Chantelle and Rio Carter-Quayle, the glamourous Essex footballer’s couple… and after strutting our stuff we were awarded the ‘best in category award’ and presented a bottle of prosecco to boot! Much down to the bling accessories supplied from Posh Pants.

Thanks Posh Pants Cancer charity shop. Pretty much anything you might be looking to find will be found with help from the amazing staff and volunteers in this lovely treassure trove of a shop. Every purchase helps Pants to continue to raise awareness of pants area cancers.
