12 Jan The Magic of Shopping Secondhand
Welcome to our new members of staff in Posh Pants – Katy and Trudi who are already doing a great job. Posh will be open Mon – Saturday and we will try and stay open until 5 for Fridays and Saturdays (dependant on staffing.)
Posh Pants is where our quality clothing and items go and can be found in Webber Street Falmouth, TR113AU.
We aim to be more affordable than most charity shops but we do charge up for specialised items to ensure we get a fair price AND honour our generous donors.
If you are after lower budget items (still great things but more ‘lower end brands’) then head for the Hub on the way to Sainsbury’s, Falmouth TR112SG: open every day including Sunday’s, 9- 4 pm.
Here we have everything from a huge range of clothing for adults and children, toys, books for adults and children, records, cd, jewelry ,frames, pictures, electrical, bedding and so much more.
Goods are donated all day long and we try and get them out for sale asap.
We love your support because it means we can support people in our CancerRehab Centre at Waterside, TR108BE where Steve Winnan transforms Cancer patients into survivors.
Natasha has been doing a great job at Posh and in the Hubs; bringing a wealth of experience to the role, and is now the Operations manager for all the Pants shops in order to free me up to have time to undertake all the CEO responsibilities. I am so grateful!
James Towe remains manager overall of the Hubs, and Mel Colman is the manager of unit 4, working in partnership with Natasha to make the shopping experience great for you.
Darren is our driver and unit 2 worker doing a great job too. All our staff get paid basic min wage and give volunteer time as well and I am a complete volunteer as the CEO and all sorts besides.
We always welcome volunteers and if you would like to offer time believe me it will be appreciated.
If you have any ideas or suggestions and would like to share them with me that would be great thank you. Please email me on rusalka31@aol.com
